Andy Drenick
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Drenick is a proven CEO with extensive experience in technology-based companies. He was most recently CEO & President of Inovonics Wireless, now owned by Roper Industries. Inovonics is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of wireless products for commercial security and meter reading applications. Prior to Inovonics, Mr. Drenick was in business development with American Management Systems, an IT services company. He started his career as a Design Engineer followed by roles in Engineering and Operations management. Mr. Drenick holds a BS in Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, an MBA from Stanford University, and is a licensed Mechanical Engineer.
Anthony Scalese
Vice-President of Finance and Administration
Anthony Scalese joined the Company in February 2000 as Corporate Controller, to oversee all accounting, finance and administrative functions. In May of 2001, Mr. Scalese was appointed Vice President of Finance and Administration and Secretary of the Company, and subsequently on March 24, 2003 appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Scalese has held various financial management positions over the past ten years in both corporate and public accounting, for companies such as Coca-Cola Enterprises and Foundation Health Systems. Mr. Scalese is an active CPA, holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Colorado State University-Pueblo and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Gary Larson
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Mr. Larson has over 29 years of senior executive experience in business development and sales and marketing. Mr. Larson assumes his new post after holding several senior sales and marketing positions in the technology and electronics industry. He was most recently with Jing Mei Industrial, a Hong Kong-based company specializing in injection molded plastics, electroplating and thin-film coatings. He has also worked for Vapor Technologies, Philips Electronics and Iomega Corporation.
Andy Grimaldi
VP & General Manager of Ling Electronics
Mr. Grimaldi grew up in the vibration test industry – working for the family business, ACG Incorporated, in high school and college. Andy graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT with a BSEE and BSCE. He worked in aerospace (UTC) as project engineer his first year out of school. Andy was then hired as an electrical/project engineer for ACG. At ACG, Andy worked on introducing modern quality systems and engineering standard practices across products including armatures, field coils, and system components. He helped establish ACG as a recognized OEM solution based system sales with rebuilt exciters and purchased amplifiers. He also designed and manufactured power amplifiers, switching cabinets, power supplies, and accessory equipment during his employment at ACG. Mr. Grimaldi has since held engineering management positions and an assistant general manager position. Before his return to Ling and ACG he worked for Hamilton Sundstrand / UTC as an IPT Leader for F100 / Operational Military Engine controls and accessories project team. Andy was extensively involved with qualification testing for FAA and military certification.
Greg Leger
VP Service and Engineering Ling Electronics
Mr. Leger joined the Company as Vice President of Technical Services in October 2001. Mr. Leger brings 10 years of senior management experience within the electronic and mechanical industrial markets. From 1995 to 2001 Mr. Leger was the sustaining engineering manager for Plasmon Laser Magnetic Storage, formerly Philips LMS. Mr. Leger has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science degree from University of New Mexico in Mechanical Engineering.
Ralph Poplawsky
Vice President of Technical Services and Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Poplawsky has 25 years of product development, manufacturing and test experience. He holds an MS Degree in Electronic Engineering from The University of Colorado and a BS Degree in Physics from Michigan State University. At CellportSystems, he led the architecture and development of the World’s first software-configurable automotive cell phone interface to connect in-vehicle communication systems with all leading cell phone models, including voice recognition and digital audio processing.
