| Oil Film Slip Tables shown with the integral reaction base are the least costly alternative for horizontal testing. These designs utilize a precision granite slab and a magnesium slip plate for a low friction slip surface. The friction is limited to the viscous drag of the oil film. This concept allows horizontal testing with any shaker (old or new) capable of horizontal operation. |
The InLine Drive Bar translates the energy from a circular armature to the horizontal plate. The RM Drive Bar uses the expanding pin in shear, to transmit high force and frequencies to tables constrained by bearings or flexures. The design uses an “H” section to ease axes change and to maintain alignment and repeatability. |
The Bearing Line Slip Table design provides high over-tuning moment (OTM) and cross-axial restraint. This concept combines a magnesium slip plate, a precision granite slab and 3000psi hydrostatic bearings to provide very high dynamic moment restraint while preserving the damping characteristics of the oil film. This system allows testing of heavy products with high centers of gravity by reacting moments through the hydrostatic bearings.
